On My Knees

"We get nearer to the Lord through music than perhaps through any other thing except prayer." ~ President J. Reuben Clark

As women of faith, we are constantly striving for peace and a deeper connection to our Savior, Jesus Christ, amidst the busyness of our day.  This 'Quiet Moments' song will take you to that peaceful place where you can reconnect with the whisperings of the Spirit, to be reminded of the sanctity of womanhood and all the joys it provides.  This song is by Jessie Clark Funk:

I get up every morning, with hope inside my heart, running through my everyday routine.
I ask for love & guidance, and strength to do my part, anticipating what the day will bring.
On my knees, I stand much taller, on my knees, where living water fills my needs
In my heart, I see what He sees, in me, then I find myself again, on my knees.

I'm always looking upwards, from earth and it's debris, cuz there is one who shows a better way
And one thing that I'm sure of, is He's aware of me, and loves me more than anyone can say,
On my knees, I stand much taller, on my knees, where living waters fill my needs
In my heart, I see what He sees, in me, then I find myself again, on my knees

My soul is filled with gratitude for tender mercies given, it reaches out to those I love and draws my heart towards Heaven

On my knees, I stand much taller, on my knees, where living waters fill my needs
In my heart, I see what He sees, in me, I always find myself again, on my knees.
